This project involved construction of a 14-storey office tower at 12 Creek Street in Brisbane's CBD, including demolition of the existing building at Creek and Elizabeth Streets and refurbishment of the four-level carpark with structural changes.
The building design fosters a "vertical village" with nine interconnected boutique levels above the arrival plaza, optimising the unique site. The project's total Gross Floor Area (GFA) is 10,000 sqm.
The lower six levels feature an outdoor-focused façade aligned with the fig tree canopy, promoting a strong connection to nature and well-being. The upper three levels, including the sky terrace, form a cascading garden for an elevated landscape. Level 10 offers a distinctive work environment with a covered outdoor sky terrace providing city views.
The highest occupied level and the roof serve as an elegant beacon, identifiable from a distance. Its design, inspired by the fig canopy motif, uses perforated metal, echoing other façade details.
