Works on the Tweed City Shopping Centre commenced in early September 2015 and involved alterations and additions to the existing shopping centre to accommodate a new Entertainment Leisure Precinct (ELP) and new mini major extension.
The development resulted in increased floor area and reconfigurations, new outdoor areas (including children’s playground), revised loading docks adjoining the ELP and revised car parking areas.
Throughout the duration of the project the existing day-to-day operation of the shopping centre continued with minimal disruption.
Drawing on our experience of working within live environments, the project team worked consciously to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum for existing retailers, the public and adjoining properties during construction.
