In December 2013, Broad Construction successfully delivered the Wickham Lodge Central Facilities Building, catering to FIFO workers in the region.
This 4,100 sqm multi-purpose structure houses an office, reception, transit lounge, gym, lounge club, showers, lockers, a dining room, crib spaces, and a fully equipped commercial kitchen serving 450 people. It adheres to Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) principles, providing natural light through shaded walls and courtyards.
The facility also serves as a post-disaster shelter and recovery facility.
After construction, the facility was officially named "Julutharndu Maya" by local Ngarluma elders; it signifies 'Everyone’s Place'.
