Broad Construction’s Queensland team recently joined 35,000 other runners to participate in the 2024 Bridge to Brisbane.
The team navigated the scenic course to the sound of music from live bands and DJs and the enthusiastic support of cheer squads throughout the race. A particularly memorable highlight was the opera performance within the ICB tunnel, offering a distinctive and unforgettable experience ahead of the final hill.
A special mention to Office Manager Kaley Koppa, who delivered an outstanding performance. Kaley placed 450th out of 11,517 females in the 10km run and achieved an impressive 51st place in her age category, finishing in 49 minutes and 52 seconds.
The 2024 event showcased Brisbane's true spirit, bringing together people from all walks of life for a day of fitness, fun, and community engagement.
“The Bridge to Brisbane is an annual tradition for our team and reflects our dedication to health and teamwork, reinforcing the importance of staying active and supporting each other as a team,” explains Operations Manager Queensland Cameron Kirkwood.
“The highlight was not only hitting new personal bests but being supported by some of our team who headed down for the morning to cheer us on.”
