A spectacular façade surrounds the 12,500sqm of commercial office space over 10 levels which is Tower 4 of the Kings Square development.
When given the opportunity to be part of a major urban renewal initiative in Perth’s CBD, we naturally jumped at the chance. The opportunity to deliver Kings Square’s Tower 4 allowed us to bring our experience of delivering new commercial office space in CBD environments and merge it with our extensive construction expertise.
The development forms part of Kings Square which is the commercial precinct of the new Perth City Link project, a major urban renewal initiative of the West Australian State Government to bridge the existing railway and link the CBD with cultural and entertainment precincts of Northbridge.
The façade of KS4 is undoubtedly a stand out exterior feature - the majority of the building is clad with intricate curtain walling.
Key importance for this project was ensuring continuous quality checks and analysis of the curtain wall panels were carried out. After the development and coordination of a thorough system, we were able to perform the checks onsite at the manufacturers’ factory in Clark, Philippines and develop a sequence of deliveries - coordinating all the shipments to Perth.
Visiting the Kings Square Precinct today - it was great to see that the façade on the Kings Square 4 Tower is almost finished and it looks fantastic. The team has shown true perseverance and professionalism on what has become a very demanding and challenging project.
