Broad undertook a refurbishment and fit-out project for part of the Department of Fisheries’ building located in Hillarys Boat Harbour.
The Fisheries Research and Education Facility provides aquatic research and education support for aquaculture and fishing in Western Australia.
The works were undertaken to accommodate a growing team and comprised conversion of existing space within the building into essential office space for the IT department and other services, along with the provision of shared meeting rooms.
Throughout the contract duration, much of the premises remained occupied and the project team drew on extensive expertise and experience to successfully manage the works, while ensuring minimal inconvenience and disturbance to the occupants.
Works were completed on schedule.
