Tweed City Shopping Centre redevelopment - open for business
Broad is pleased to announce it has received official Practical Completion for works on the Tweed City Shopping Centre redevelopment.
, which involved alterations and additions to the existing shopping centre to accommodate a new Entertainment Leisure Precinct (ELP) and new extension, was a return for the Broad team - having successfully delivered expansion and redevelopment works to the centre in 2008.
The design and construct development has resulted in an increased floor area of over 3000sqm for the centre, comprising internal demolition and reconfigurations. Further works included new outdoor areas (including a children’s playground), revised loading docks adjoining the ELP and revised car parking areas.
PC was officially awarded on 28 September 2016. The additions to the centre were formally opened today (14 October 2016).
